Barbara
Barbara moved from France to Canada in 2019 and has been a full-time tutor since. She founded Je Parle French to meet the growing demand for French tutoring and to share her experience and love for teaching with other tutors. With over 10 years of experience, Barbara teaches all levels and has developed learning programs and materials to support her students on their language journey. Barbara offers the following classes: - Online Exam preparation - Online Private Tutoring for adults - Online small group lessons - In-person group lessons (Victoria/Langford only)
Giovanna
Giovanna was born in Paris and moved to Vancouver from France in 2018. She has always loved helping others and began tutoring her little cousins as a teenager. Since then, she has gained valuable experience by providing training in the workplace and mentoring her coworkers. Passionate about languages, she decided to combine her love of French with her mentoring skills to become a tutor. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment to help her students build confidence and achieve their goals. Giovanna teaches the following classes: - Online Private Tutoring for kids - Online Private Tutoring for Adults
Charlotte
Charlotte was born on Réunion Island and moved to Canada in January 2022. Before that, she spent over 7 years in South Africa, where she perfected her English. With a background in journalism and over 6 years of experience as a bilingual writer, Charlotte now works as full time French Tutor. After moving to Canada, she noticed the need for French lessons, especially for immigration purposes, and decided to help. She has been working with Je Parle French for a year. Charlotte offers the following classes: - Online Exam preparation - Online Private Tutoring - Online Small Group lessons
Zélie
Zélie is a French teacher based in Vancouver who moved from Paris in 2022. She has been teaching French for six years to learners of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, mostly teenagers and adults, in various institutions in both France and Canada. She is currently a certified TEF/TCF examiner and a former DELF/DALF examiner. Zélie speaks French, English, Spanish, and Mandarin. She holds a BA in Chinese Studies and a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, which included an international student exchange in Taipei. This experience enriched her cultural knowledge and strengthened her desire to teach French beyond the borders of France and Europe. She now prepares students for the TEF, TCF, DELF, and DALF exams with Je Parle French on a part-time basis.
